GoHeight — Privacy Policy

1. App purpose

GoHeight is a growth-tracking and educational app intended for parents and caregivers to record and review a child's growth. GoHeight provides informational tools and is not a medical diagnosis service or a substitute for professional medical advice.

2. Child and family data stored locally

GoHeight may store the following information locally on the user's device:

• child name, sex, date of birth, and selected avatar;
• height and weight measurements;
• optional measurement notes;
• parental heights used for Genetic Height Potential; and
• app preferences such as language and height unit.

SimpleOrbit does not operate a GoHeight account system or cloud database for these child profiles and growth records. GoHeight does not intentionally transmit these records to Google AdMob or another advertising provider.

3. Google Mobile Ads on Android

The Android version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising on selected non-core screens. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process data such as an IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), app or user product interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or advertising identifiers where available and applicable.

Google may use this data for advertising, analytics and measurement, fraud prevention, and security. SimpleOrbit does not necessarily receive or store all data processed automatically by Google's SDK. Google handles that data under its own policies.

4. Consent and privacy choices

On Android, GoHeight uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where applicable to present consent or privacy choices. When required by UMP, a Privacy Options entry may appear in Settings so the user can review available choices.

5. Internet connection

Core child-growth tracking and bundled educational content can continue to function without ads. An internet connection is required to load Google ads, applicable consent or privacy services, and external Privacy Policy links.

6. No account

No account or sign-in is required. GoHeight therefore has no server-side account profile for the user to delete.

7. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored child and growth data remains on the device until the user deletes individual records or profiles, uses Reset Local Data, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app, subject to device and platform behavior.

Reset Local Data removes GoHeight's locally stored profiles, measurements, parental-height data, and preferences. Advertising or privacy data handled by Google is governed by Google's controls and policies and is not removed by GoHeight's local Reset action.

8. Data security

Local app data is kept in app or device storage. Network traffic used by Google services is handled by those services. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children and intended users

GoHeight is designed for parents and caregivers to manage growth information about children. It is not intended for children to create accounts or independently submit personal information to SimpleOrbit.

10. Third-party services

The Android app uses:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK; and
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

11. Changes to this policy

SimpleOrbit may update this policy if GoHeight's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
