JUang

Privacy Policy

JUang is a personal finance tracking app for recording income and expenses. This Privacy Policy explains how JUang handles data when you use the app.

1. Data stored on your device

JUang stores transaction records locally on your device. Records may include transaction dates, descriptions, categories, income or expense type, amounts in Indonesian Rupiah, and generated financial report text.

JUang does not currently provide a JUang cloud account or backend for storing your financial records.

Because these records are stored locally, clearing JUang app data or uninstalling the app may permanently remove local records. We recommend exporting important records before clearing app data or uninstalling JUang.

2. Photos, receipts, and OCR

When you choose or capture a receipt image, JUang may use the image to preview the receipt and recognize text for transaction entry.

JUang stores transaction text and related metadata locally. Receipt image files are not stored as image data inside JUang's browser localStorage.

Photos captured using your device camera may remain in your device gallery, including under a folder such as Pictures/JUang depending on your device and Android implementation.

Deleting a transaction from JUang does not necessarily delete a receipt photo that remains in your device gallery. Gallery files may need to be deleted separately using your device's gallery or file-management tools.

3. ML Kit text recognition

JUang uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition to read receipt text on-device. Receipt images, recognized receipt text, and financial transaction content are not sent to a JUang server for OCR processing.

Google ML Kit and related Google services may process limited operational or diagnostic information according to Google's SDK data disclosure documentation and applicable Google policies.

4. Voice input

When you use the Voice feature, JUang opens the Android speech recognition service available on your device.

JUang does not force speech recognition to occur only on-device. Depending on your Android device, settings, and configured speech provider, audio may be processed by Google or another speech recognition provider outside JUang.

JUang receives the resulting transcript and stores it locally only when you choose to save the transaction.

5. Advertising

JUang uses Google AdMob to display advertising.

JUang currently uses:

a banner advertisement on the Draft screen; and
rewarded advertisements that users may voluntarily watch to unlock additional CSV or PDF exports after the applicable free export has been used.

Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as device information, app interactions, advertising identifiers or other identifiers, and diagnostic information for purposes including ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention, according to Google's applicable policies.

JUang does not send your transaction descriptions, merchant names, transaction categories, financial amounts, transaction history, receipt OCR text, or financial report content to AdMob as custom advertising targeting parameters.

6. Advertising privacy choices and consent

JUang uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to manage advertising consent messages and advertising privacy choices.

Depending on your location and applicable requirements, Google may provide consent or privacy-choice interfaces relating to advertising. Those choices are handled through Google's consent and advertising systems.

7. Data sharing and external services

JUang does not currently include a JUang backend, n8n integration, OpenAI integration, Gemini integration, user account system, or separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

JUang's app code does not send your financial transaction records, receipt OCR text, financial reports, or receipt image content to a JUang server.

Third-party platform or SDK services used by JUang, including Google Mobile Ads, Google ML Kit, Android speech recognition providers, and related Google services, may process data according to their respective policies and technical functions.

8. CSV and PDF exports

JUang allows you to export your own financial records as CSV or PDF. Exported files are created at your request and are saved to your device or handled through Android's download, file, or print functionality.

JUang stores local status indicating whether the free CSV export and the free PDF export have been used.

After the applicable free export has been used, additional exports may be voluntarily unlocked through rewarded advertising.

Because JUang currently has no user account system, clearing app data or uninstalling JUang may reset locally stored free-export status.

9. Data deletion

You can delete transaction records from inside JUang using the available transaction-clearing features.

Clearing JUang app data or uninstalling the application may also remove locally stored transaction records.

Receipt photos saved separately in your device gallery are not necessarily removed when JUang transactions or app data are deleted. Those files may need to be deleted separately from your device gallery.

10. No user accounts

JUang does not currently provide user registration, login, cloud profiles, or cloud synchronization of financial records.

Because JUang does not provide user accounts, there is currently no JUang cloud account or cloud profile to request deletion of.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when JUang's features, data practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change.

When this policy is updated, the effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
